Background about Sapphire
Sapphire is a lifestyle lead voluntary benefit scheme and aims to offer a reward for loyalty by providing gem staff with the opportunity to purchase items they need or desire at discounted prices. Sapphire is an innovative scheme which works closely with gem staff to get them the discounts and benefits which they would like, therefore ensuring the scheme remains relevant and beneficial to both staff and the suppliers involved.
Background about gem.
gem currently has over 900 staff and this is set to double over the next three years. gem staff have an average age of 25, approximately 40% of which are European. Discounts and vouchers are a great way for them to try new services and products. gem is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and also has centres in L'Derry and Hungary.
What we can offer you...
Companies within our employee discount scheme enjoy free, repeated advertising to over 900 local working household/families.
We will promote your company via several different channels within the Sapphire Scheme. Details of the range of products or facilities your company offers, the discount or special promotion offered and any additional information supplied would be circulated to all our members via the following methods:
- You will have a dedicated page on our site which can be updated at your request to include any seasonal offers or promotions.
- Rotating banners placed throughout the site.
- Seasonal pages to promote appropriate products at key seasons throughout the year, including Christmas, Easter and Valentines Day.
- We also run regular e-mail newsletters to all our members, along with various promotions and competitions.
- Additionally we can run competitions which attract a high interest and click-through rate.
Discounts can be provided via a discount code, printable vouchers or both.
We appreciate that the security of the discount codes is vital and therefore we have several processes to ensure that access to the site is only permitted to authorised employees and when an employee leaves the company, their account is instantly deactivated.
Offline discounts
For suppliers offering a discount or promotions offline, we have the Sapphire Discount card. This is a card issued to gem staff which can be used as proof of employment before a discount is given. The card details the employee name, card number and expiry date.
